The court also imposed a fine of \u20b910 lakh and directed that \u20b97 lakh be paid to the victim as compensation.<\/p>\n<p>Revanna was convicted on Friday. During the sentencing, he pleaded for leniency, claiming he had done nothing wrong.<\/p>\n<p>The case was filed in April last year by a 47-year-old woman who worked at Revanna\u2019s family farmhouse. In her complaint, she accused him of repeatedly raping her since 2021 and threatening to leak explicit videos if she disclosed the abuse.<\/p>\n<p>The court completed hearings in the case on July 18. Revanna was charged under multiple sections, including rape, voyeurism, criminal intimidation, and leaking obscene content.
