New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s Independence Day speech, saying it contained \u201cnothing new\u201d and reflected the same approach he has followed during his tenure. Gandhi alleged that the Prime Minister has \u201cno new ideas\u201d left.<\/p>\n
In a post on X, Gandhi wrote, \u201c\u20b91 lakh crore jumla \u2013 season 2! Even after 11 years, the same old jumlas, the same remembered figures of Modi ji. Last year, the promise of \u20b91 lakh crore to 1 crore internships \u2014 this year again \u20b91 lakh crore job scheme!\u201d<\/p>\n
He claimed that in response to his question in Parliament, the government had admitted that less than 10,000 internships were provided, while the scholarship amount was so low that \u201c90% of the youth refused\u201d.<\/p>\n
