Dallas, A 50-year-old Indian-origin motel manager was brutally killed in front of his wife and son in Dallas, Texas, following a dispute with a co-worker over a washing machine.<\/p>\n
The victim, Chandramouli \u201cBob\u201d Nagamalaiah, a native of Karnataka, was attacked on Thursday morning at the Suites Motel in downtown Dallas. Police have arrested 37-year-old Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, who has a prior criminal record, and charged him with murder.<\/p>\n
According to the Dallas Police Department, the altercation began when Nagamalaiah asked someone else to translate his instructions instead of speaking directly to Cobos-Martinez. This reportedly enraged the suspect.<\/p>\n
CCTV footage shows Cobos-Martinez carrying a knife and attacking Nagamalaiah. The victim tried to escape to the motel office, where his wife and 18-year-old son were present, but the suspect chased him and continued the assault despite their attempts to stop him.<\/p>\n
