ISLAMABAD: Twelve soldiers were killed after terrorists ambushed an army convoy in northwest Pakistan\u2019s South Waziristan district near the Afghan border.<\/p>\n
According to the Pakistan Army, the attack took place in the hilly Badr area where troops travelling in military vehicles came under heavy firing.<\/p>\n
In the exchange, 12 soldiers and 13 terrorists were killed. Security officials said four civilians were also injured during the incident.<\/p>\n
