Jalandhar: Ritchie KP (36), the only son of former MP and senior Akali leader Mohinder Singh KP, died in a four-vehicle collision in Jalandhar on Saturday night. The incident occurred near Mata Rani Chowk in Model Town, considered a posh locality of the city.<\/p>\n
Police said two other occupants of cars involved in the crash also sustained serious injuries. Ritchie was travelling in his Fortuner (PB08AT-0001) when his vehicle collided with others. He suffered a fractured neck and severe injuries to his head and internal organs, leading to his death.<\/p>\n
At the time of the accident, Mohinder Singh KP was at his residence in Model Town. Following the collision, the driver of a Creta car fled the scene but has been identified. Police said efforts are underway to trace and arrest him.<\/p>\n
