New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday declined to alter its September 8 order permitting the Election Commission of India (ECI) to use Aadhaar as the 12th document of identity for inclusion of voters in the revised electoral roll being prepared in Bihar under the Special Comprehensive Correction (SIR) exercise.<\/p>\n
A bench of Justices Surya Kant and Joymalya Bagchi clarified that last week\u2019s direction was only interim in nature.
