Jalandhar: Local authorities carried out an inspection of preparations for the grand Shobha Yatra to be taken out on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Ji\u2019s birth anniversary. The Shobha Yatra will be held on October 6, and administrative preparations are in full swing. To oversee the arrangements, Central Constituency In-charge Nitin Kohli, Mayor Vaneet Dhir, and Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Rishi jointly reviewed the main routes of the city on which the procession will pass.<\/p>\n
The officials inspected road conditions, traffic management, sanitation, lighting, water supply, and security measures. They also issued directions to concerned departments on the spot to ensure smooth conduct of the event.<\/p>\n
