Koteshwar Singh observed that while they do not intend to act as school principals for High Court judges, a self-management system is necessary to prevent case files from piling up.<\/p>\n<p>The bench noted, \u201cThere are judges who work day and night and dispose of cases regularly, but at the same time, there are some judges who are unable to do their job.\u201d The court added that, regardless of the reasons, judges should ensure timely disposal of their cases.<\/p>\n<p>It further stated, \u201cSuppose a judge is hearing a criminal appeal; we do not expect him to decide 50 cases in a day. Even deciding one criminal appeal in a day is a significant achievement.
