London: Cricket umpiring icon Harold “Dickie” Bird has died at the age of 92.<\/p>\n
Bird, who stood in 66 Test matches, 69 One-Day Internationals and three World Cup finals, was regarded as one of the most respected umpires in the game. Before taking up umpiring, he played as a batsman for Yorkshire in county cricket.<\/p>\n
