Panipat: A seven-year-old boy was allegedly beaten and hung upside down from a window at a private school in Panipat, leading to the arrest of the school principal and a cab driver.<\/p>\n
The incident, which occurred on August 13 at Srijan Public School in Viratnagar, came to light on Saturday after a video of the assault went viral on social media. The boy\u2019s parents, shocked by the footage, lodged a complaint with Model Town police.<\/p>\n
Police said the cab driver, identified as Ajay, tied the child\u2019s legs with a rope, hung him from the window, slapped him, recorded the video, and shared it online. Another video also surfaced showing Principal Reena slapping two students in front of their classmates.<\/p>\n
The education department immediately issued a notice to the school and ordered its closure. A case has been registered against Ajay, and police have launched further investigation.<\/p>\n
