A written complaint has been lodged by local residents at the Jalandhar Cantt police station. In her statement, Anju, a resident of Sansarpur, said she takes care of the dogs that sit outside their house. She alleged that Swarnjit Singh, also known as Soni, attacked one dog with a hockey stick, killing it, and tried to injure other dogs.<\/p>\n
She added that the accused is allegedly addicted to alcohol, which led to the crime. The family handed over the CCTV footage to the police to aid the investigation.<\/p>\n
