The complete list of nominees will remain confidential for 50 years. Last year, in 2024, the award went to Nihon Hidenkyo, a group of survivors of Japan\u2019s atomic bombing, recognized for their campaign to ban nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n<p>The Nobel Peace Prize ceremony will be held on December 10, the death anniversary of Alfred Nobel, the Swedish industrialist and inventor of dynamite who founded the prizes.
