Washington: US President Donald Trump has claimed that he used tax threats as a tool to resolve several international conflicts, including tensions between India and Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Speaking to journalists aboard Air Force One, Trump said, \u201cI’ve solved some of the wars on the basis of taxes alone. For example, between India and Pakistan, I said, if you guys want to fight a war and you have nuclear weapons, I’m going to impose big tariffs on both of you, like 100 percent, 150 percent, and 200 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that his threat of heavy taxes quickly brought the situation under control. \u201cI said I was taxing. I solved that in 24 hours. If I didn’t have taxes, you could never have solved that war,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n
