However, the situation turned tense when the Chandigarh Police provided him security, leading to an argument between the two police teams. It was reported that both sides allegedly pointed pistols at each other before senior officers intervened.<\/p>\n<p>Chaturvedi\u2019s nomination papers were rejected earlier this week, and he has said he will now approach the High Court for relief.<\/p>\n<p>Punjab AAP chief Aman Arora, addressing a press conference, said that the Rupnagar Police had reached Chandigarh with an arrest warrant for Chaturvedi. \u201cWhen the police tried to arrest him, the Chandigarh Police intervened at the behest of the central government and began shielding him.
