Bhullar was arrested on Saturday from his Mohali office along with another person in connection with an alleged bribe of \u20b98 lakh.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rule 3(2) of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, a government servant detained for more than forty-eight hours is deemed to be suspended by the concerned government. Bhullar\u2019s suspension has been effective from October 16.<\/p>\n<p>Following his arrest, the CBI conducted raids at Bhullar\u2019s residence in Chandigarh\u2019s Sector 40. The agency reportedly seized \u20b97.5 crore in cash, 2.5 kg of gold, 22 expensive watches, 40 bottles of premium liquor, keys to two luxury vehicles \u2014 an Audi and a BMW \u2014 and property documents from various locations in Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>Officials also recovered two rifles, pistols, revolvers, air guns and ammunition during the raid.
