On Saturday, Giani Gadgaj was formally reinstated according to Panthak traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Former Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh and Nihang Jathebandis honoured Giani Gadgaj by ceremonially tying a turban on him during a program held at Sri Kesgarh Sahib. This marked the resolution of the dispute that had divided various Sikh organizations for months.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on March 10, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) had removed Giani Gadgaj without the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Guru Panth and Sangat, sparking anger among several Panthak groups and sects.<\/p>\n<p>Following his reinstatement, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj appealed to all Sikh organizations to unite under the guidance of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
