AAP leaders urge voters – \u2018Aap di Sarkar, Aap da MLA\u2019 will ensure fast paced development in Tarn Taran<\/span><\/p>\n

Tarn Taran (Pawan Dhupar):<\/span> Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday led a massive roadshow in support of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, accompanied by AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia. The energetic roadshow witnessed a massive turnout, reflecting the people\u2019s trust in Bhagwant Mann\u2019s leadership and AAP\u2019s model of transparent governance.<\/p>\n

The roadshow covered several villages including Bala Chak, Gohalwarh, Kot Dasandi Mal, Pandori Ran Singh, Pandori Sidhwan, Manan, Kherdinke, Thathgarh, Jagatpura, and Dhand, where thousands of residents greeted the leaders with slogans of \u2018Inquilab Zindabad\u2019 and \u2018AAP Zindabad\u2019.<\/p>\n

Addressing the people, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that this by-election is not just about choosing an MLA, it is about choosing the future of Tarn Taran. \u201cOur government has changed the direction of Punjab\u2019s politics. The era of fake promises and family rule is over. Now, Punjab stands for honest governance and development that touches every household,\u201d said Mann.<\/p>\n

He added that AAP\u2019s governance is visible on the ground, from providing free electricity to ensuring ration reaches the poor, improving education and healthcare, and delivering jobs to the youth. \u201cWe have given 55,000 government jobs on merit. Recruitment in police, patwari, and judicial services is ongoing. Farmers are getting free power during the day, canals water is reaching fields, and ration is reaching every poor household,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mann also reminded people that AAP had stood firmly with flood-affected farmers and fulfilled its promise to supply 1.85 lakh quintals of wheat seed, some of which are being dispatched to villages now. \u201cWe are not here to make speeches but to serve. Our commitment is to bring farmers and labourers back on track,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Taking a sharp dig at opposition parties, Mann said, \u201cThose who once ruled Punjab, Akalis and Congress, locked themselves inside Chandigarh bungalows for five years. They never cared about your pain. These people only think about their families, not about Punjab.\u201d He added, \u201cThey will now come to shake your hand, just check your fingers afterward; they might try to steal even that!\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the 2022 Assembly elections and AAP\u2019s successive victories in subsequent by-elections, Mann said, \u201cPeople of Punjab gave us a historic mandate in 2022 and have since continued to reject the corrupt and dynastic parties in every by-election. Tarn Taran will once again prove that people want \u2018work politics\u2019, not \u2018corrupt politics\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mann shared his personal vision for Punjab\u2019s youth: \u201cMy only wish is to see Punjab at number one, to see our youth excelling in sports, securing top jobs, and getting rid of drugs forever. If I wanted to earn money, I could have done it through my art. I entered politics only to serve Punjab.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also informed the gathering that after the roadshow, he would leave for Delhi for a meeting with the President regarding the upcoming 350th martyrdom anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, to be observed on November 23\u201325 at Sri Anandpur Sahib and across sacred sites associated with Guru Sahib\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia, addressing the crowd, appealed to the people to vote for AAP\u2019s candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, saying, \u201cWhen you elect \u2018Aap da MLA\u2019 with \u2018Aap di Sarkar\u2019, development will happen at double speed. The opposition will only waste time in politics of ego and blame, while AAP delivers results.\u201d<\/p>\n

AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Manish Sisodia, and the party leadership for their continued guidance and support. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Tarn Taran for their overwhelming response and love during the roadshow. \u201cThis warmth and trust from my own people give me the strength to serve Tarn Taran with full honesty and commitment,\u201d Sandhu said.<\/p>\n
