Chandigarh: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an application in a special court in Chandigarh seeking a 12-day remand for questioning Krishna, the middleman arrested in connection with former Ropar range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar. The court has scheduled the next hearing for October 28.<\/p>\n
During the investigation, the CBI discovered that Krishna had links with several other senior officers. The agency intends to question him about these connections as part of the ongoing probe.<\/p>\n
Earlier, on October 16, the CBI arrested a youth for allegedly extorting Rs 8 lakh from a scrap dealer in the name of DIG Bhullar.<\/p>\n
