Opener Abhishek Sharma was unbeaten on 23 and Shubman Gill on 29 when play was halted. Lightning forced the evacuation of some stands, followed by heavy rain that continued for nearly two hours, leading to the match being called off.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the series, India secured victories in the third and fourth matches, while Australia won the second encounter.<\/p>\n
