Sandhu said that the BJP has a long history of deceit and discrimination towards Punjab, and every promise made by them has turned out to be a cruel joke on the state\u2019s hardworking people.<\/p>\n<p>Sandhu said that the BJP first stabbed the farmers in the back by imposing the draconian farm laws that would have handed agriculture over to corporates. \u201cThe BJP called farmers traitors and terrorists when they protested peacefully for their rights. Over 750 farmers lost their lives in the struggle, yet not a word of apology or remorse came from the BJP leadership. This party has blood on its hands,\u201d Sandhu declared.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that the BJP continues to discriminate against Punjab by denying the state its rightful share of funds and water. \u201cWhether it is the SYL canal issue, the pending rural development funds, or the GST dues, BJP has deliberately tried to weaken Punjab economically. Their politics is built on lies, division, and exploitation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The AAP candidate added that the BJP\u2019s anti-farmer and anti-Punjab policies have now been completely exposed, and no propaganda can hide their betrayal. \u201cThe people of Punjab understand everything.
