Pune: At least seven people were killed and 15 others injured when two large container trucks caught fire on a bridge along the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway on the outskirts of Pune city, police said.<\/p>\n
A police official said, \u201cAs per preliminary information, seven people have died and the injured have been taken to the hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to officials, the accident involved eight vehicles. Videos circulating on social media showed a car trapped between two heavy vehicles that were engulfed in flames. The fire brigade was called to the spot and managed to extinguish the blaze after several hours of effort.<\/p>\n
