Tejashwi\u2019s lead is attributed to his status as Lalu Prasad Yadav\u2019s son and Leader of the Opposition, rather than local dissatisfaction with him. The constituency has about 35% Yadav voters, whose votes were largely united, along with around 5% Muslim support.<\/p>\n
Mahua: Tej Pratap Yadav trailing<\/p>\n
Tej Pratap Yadav is currently in third place, behind LJP (R)\u2019s Sanjay Kumar Singh and RJD\u2019s Mukesh Kumar Roshan. BJP\u2019s Maithili Thakur is leading in Alinagar, with RJD\u2019s Vinod Mishra in second place. Her lead comes despite earlier controversy over a viral video; local leaders and BJP national in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan\u2019s apology helped consolidate support. Mokama: Anant Singh wins<\/p>\n
JD(U)\u2019s Anant Singh has secured victory in Mokama by 28,206 votes over RJD\u2019s Veena Singh. Analysts said the Yadav vs Bhumihar dynamic following Dular Chand Yadav\u2019s murder, along with support from upper-caste voters and EBCs, helped Anant Singh.
