Patna: The picture of the Bihar Assembly elections is becoming clear as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) takes a commanding lead. Out of 243 seats, the NDA is leading in 202 seats, while the Grand Alliance is ahead in just 37 seats.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on X, calling the results a \u201cvictory of good governance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Within the NDA, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 63 seats and is leading in 27 more, while the Janata Dal (United) has secured 44 seats and is ahead in 40. Among the Grand Alliance, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has won 13 seats and is leading in 12, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has 9 wins and leads in 10, and the Congress has won just one seat and is ahead in five.<\/p>\n
In Mahua, LJP(RV) candidate Sanjay Kumar Singh defeated RJD\u2019s Mukesh Kumar Roshan by a margin of 44,997 votes, with Tej Pratap Yadav finishing third.<\/p>\n
