He was picked up from a caf\u00e9 on Ranjit Avenue while he was sitting with friends. Police seized the DVR of the caf\u00e9 during the arrest.<\/p>\n<p>The reason behind the action is yet to be revealed. According to sources, Gill had been threatened by the police several times during the Tarn Taran by-election. The operation was led by Tarn Taran Police DSP Atul Soni who is currently posted in Goindwal Sahib.<\/p>\n<p>Sources believe that the arrest may be linked to social media posts related to the Tarn Taran by-election. Akali Dal had shared several posts critical of the government during the polls.
