SBS Nagar: In a major incident of violence, at about Monday morning, two cars began chasing each other near the bus stand in Banga (in the district of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, formerly Nawanshahr), Punjab. One of the vehicles involved was a Scorpio.<\/p>\n
The other car, carrying youths, reached the Banga bus stand and opened fire, reportedly discharging 35\u201340 rounds at the Scorpio. As a result, five youths who were in the Scorpio were injured and taken first to Guru Nanak Mission Hospital.<\/p>\n
Given the serious nature of their injuries, they were later referred to Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana.<\/p>\n
The police have launched an investigation into the motive behind the chase and firing and are examining CCTV footage from the bus stand and nearby roads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
