Chairing a review meeting here at the District Administrative Complex, the Deputy Commissioner accompanied by Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur and Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Rishi, said that heavy rainfall leads to massive water accumulation, disrupting vehicular movement, and emphasized the need for a robust drainage mechanism. He directed the departments to formulate a comprehensive plan to ensure efficient rainwater disposal before the onset of the monsoon.<\/p>\n<p>The DC also urged NHAI to identify and rectify black or blind spots on the highway ahead of the fog season, pointing out that these locations often become hotspots for accidents. NHAI Project Director S.K.
