Chandigarh: The police in Ferozepur have arrested two accused in connection with the murder of Naveen, the grandson of an RSS leader, officials said. Naveen was shot dead in the middle of the city three days ago.<\/p>\n
Ferozepur SSP Bhupinder Singh said the accused were offered \u20b91 lakh each to carry out the killing. He added that Khalistani group Sher-e-Punjab Brigade has claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they \u201chave reformed the leader of the Hindutva gang\u201d.<\/p>\n
According to the SSP, accused Kanav and Harsh conducted a recce of Naveen and planned the entire murder at Kanav\u2019s house. \u201cFour people are directly involved in this murder. Of them, Kanav and Harsh were arrested from Ferozepur on Wednesday. Both have confessed to the conspiracy during interrogation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
