She warned that if Randhawa did not withdraw the notice, she would initiate legal proceedings of her own.<\/p>\n<p>Kaur said her remarks fall under the right to freedom of speech and were based on media reports. On Tuesday, Randhawa, who also serves as the Congress in-charge for Rajasthan, sent her a legal notice seeking an apology for allegedly making defamatory accusations.<\/p>\n<p>According to the notice, Kaur had publicly accused Randhawa on December 7 and 8 of indulging in corruption, including allegations of distributing party tickets in exchange for money.<\/p>\n<p>Her sharp response came a day after the Congress suspended her from the party\u2019s primary membership over her \u2018Rs 500 crore\u2019 comment.
