He said the most surprising thing is why former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, against whom these allegations have been made, is silent till now.<\/p>\n<p>Garg said that Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has also publicly claimed that Channi paid \u20b9350 crore to become the Chief Minister. If this is true, is it not a betrayal of the people of Punjab? And if the allegations are false, why is Channi Sahib not coming forward to deny them?<\/p>\n<p>Garg also mentioned the serious allegations levelled by Navjot Kaur Sidhu against the Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa. He said that the silence of a senior leader like Bajwa, who holds the position of Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, raises several questions in the minds of the people. Even after such grave allegations, what does Bajwa Sahib\u2019s silence indicate?<\/p>\n<p>Garg said that Punjab does not want deceit or any kind of \u201cdeal\u201d. The people of Punjab want transparency.
