After the procedure, he went to a ward to rest and reportedly fell asleep after seeing an empty bed.<\/p>\n<p>When the doctor later noticed the patient outside the ward, a verbal altercation broke out which escalated into a physical scuffle. Videos circulating online show both the doctor and the patient kicking and punching each other.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, the hospital administration suspended the doctor and constituted an internal committee to investigate the matter. The state health minister said that strict action would be taken if the doctor\u2019s fault is proved.<\/p>\n<p>After the alleged beating, the patient\u2019s relatives staged a protest outside the hospital and demanded stringent action against the doctor.
