Under the scheme, every family in Punjab will be entitled to cashless medical treatment of up to \u20b910 lakh per year.<\/p>\n<p>The health minister said that pilot registrations for the scheme will begin from Tuesday in Mohali district. He added that residents holding Punjab-issued Aadhaar cards and voter identity cards will be eligible to avail benefits under the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Around 650 private healthcare facilities, along with all medical universities in the state, have already been empanelled under the scheme to ensure wide access to quality healthcare services. The minister further stated that existing beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat will be provided an additional health cover of \u20b95 lakh, significantly enhancing their overall insurance coverage.<\/p>\n<p>For the pilot phase, 274 registration centres have been identified across Mohali district. These include Common Service Centres (CSCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), sub-divisional hospitals and the district hospital.
