Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha spent a day working as a Blinkit delivery agent, delivering orders across the city to draw attention to the challenges faced by frontline workers in India\u2019s rapidly growing quick-commerce sector.<\/p>\n
The Aam Aadmi Party leader shared a video on X, showing him dressed in a Blinkit delivery uniform and helmet. In the footage, Chadha can be seen riding pillion on a delivery partner\u2019s motorcycle and completing multiple orders.<\/p>\n
Alongside the video, Chadha wrote: \u201cBeyond boardrooms, at the grassroots. Lived their day today.\u201d He said the initiative was aimed at understanding life on the ground, away from policy debates, and at highlighting the difficulties faced by workers engaged in last-mile delivery.<\/p>\n
Chadha, who represents Punjab in the Rajya Sabha, has been a vocal critic of the 10-minute delivery promises made by several quick-commerce platforms. He has argued that such time-bound commitments often compel delivery workers to take risks on the road to meet strict targets.<\/p>\n
Earlier, during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Chadha had urged the House to look beyond consumer convenience and reflect on the human cost of ultra-fast deliveries. \u201cThese people are not robots. They are someone\u2019s father, husband, brother or son. The House should think about them, and this cruelty of 10-minute delivery must end,\u201d he had said.<\/p>\n
