New Delhi: A shocking incident has been reported from Budaun district of Uttar Pradesh, where a man allegedly handed over his wife to his friends in exchange for Rs 1,000.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old woman, a resident of the Faizganj Behta police station area, lodged a complaint stating that her husband sent her with his friends after taking money from them. She alleged that the two men\u2014identified as Balkrishna and Pappu\u2014took her to a forest area and gang-raped her.<\/p>\n
Police have registered an FIR against the husband and his two friends and launched an investigation. SP (Rural) Hirdesh Katheria said that the two accused, Balkrishna and Pappu, have been arrested and are being questioned.<\/p>\n
The woman\u2019s husband, identified as Chhuttan, is currently absconding. Two police teams have been formed to trace and arrest him, the officer said.<\/p>\n
