Senior officials have described the move as a routine administrative transfer. However, the timing of the order \u2014 coinciding with the summons issued to the Captain and his son \u2014 has sparked speculation in political circles.<\/p>\n<p>The ED had summoned both Amarinder Singh and Raninder Singh in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged FEMA violations. Neither appeared before the agency. Amarinder Singh is currently hospitalised and undergoing treatment for a knee ailment.<\/p>\n<p>Tiwari had been posted in Jalandhar in September 2023.
