Mansa: A 65-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his son in a late-night attack at Dharampura village near Bareta in Mansa district. The accused also injured his brother before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n
The deceased has been identified as Gurjant Singh, who lived in the village with his wife and son Sukhpal Singh. According to police, the accused \u2014 45-year-old Rai Singh \u2014 allegedly entered the house around midnight and attacked his father with a sharp-edged weapon.<\/p>\n
Gurjant Singh died on the spot due to severe injuries, while Sukhpal Singh sustained wounds while trying to intervene. He has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
