Chandigarh: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the party\u2019s \u2018MNREGA Mazdoor, Kisan Bachao\u2019 rally.<\/p>\n
Kharge alleged that Modi had turned into \u201cSurrender Modi\u201d before US President Donald Trump and accused him of pushing the country towards a new phase of subjugation.<\/p>\n
He claimed that the current political and economic challenges facing the country required strong leadership and asserted that senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was the only leader capable of taking on the present dispensation.<\/p>\n

Kharge said the nation was facing serious issues affecting workers and farmers, and alleged that both state and central governments had failed to address their concerns adequately.<\/p>\n
