Tehran\/Kuwait City: The wife of Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has died following injuries sustained in recent US-Israel airstrikes on Iran, according to Iranian media reports. Mansoureh, who was injured two days ago during the attack targeting Tehran, succumbed to her injuries, the reports said.<\/p>\n
The strikes were part of a wider offensive by the United States and Israel on multiple Iranian locations, including ballistic missile facilities and naval assets. Iranian leaders have claimed that more than 200 people have been killed so far in the bombardment, which followed the reported killing of Khamenei.<\/p>\n
US President Donald Trump claimed that nine Iranian naval vessels were destroyed and indicated willingness to engage with Iran\u2019s new leadership once it is formed.<\/p>\n
Kuwait reports aircraft incidents<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Kuwait\u2019s Ministry of Defence said several American military aircraft were involved in accidents within the country during heavy Iranian shelling targeting the region. All pilots were safely evacuated and taken to hospital for medical examination, and their condition is stated to be stable.<\/p>\n
The ministry did not provide detailed reasons for the incidents. The US Central Command has not yet issued an official statement on the matter.<\/p>\n
Conflict spreads across region<\/p>\n
The confrontation has widened beyond the US, Israel and Iran. Iran-backed Hezbollah fired missiles at Israel, prompting retaliatory Israeli strikes on Beirut, Lebanon.<\/p>\n
Missile incidents have also been reported in the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain, with civilian casualties confirmed. In Israel, nine people were killed in an attack on a synagogue amid the escalating hostilities.<\/p>\n
European powers including the United Kingdom, France and Germany have expressed support for Washington, raising fears of a broader regional conflict.<\/p>\n
