He alleged that AAP leaders are pressuring officials and extorting money from various sections of society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way an officer was allegedly called to a minister\u2019s residence, threatened, assaulted and filmed in a bribery-related matter, leading to his suicide, reflects the extent of corruption within the system,\u201d Chugh said.<\/p>\n<p>He further claimed that corruption has spread across officials, businessmen and common citizens under the current government.<\/p>\n<p>The remarks come amid an escalating political row over the case, which has already led to the resignation of former minister Laljit Singh Bhullar.<\/p>\n<p>Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had earlier ordered a probe into the incident and assigned the investigation to the chief secretary.
