New Delhi: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Saturday released a second video responding to allegations made by his own party, claiming that the charges against him are part of a \u201ccoordinated and scripted campaign\u201d.<\/p>\n
Sharing the video on social media platform X, Chadha said he initially chose to remain silent but decided to respond as repeated claims could be perceived as truth. \u201cI did not want to speak, but if a lie is repeated again and again, it starts appearing true. There is zero truth in the three allegations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In the video message, Chadha alleged that a planned campaign was being run against him using identical language and accusations. \u201cThis is not a coincidence but a coordinated attack. I thought I should not respond, but then felt that silence may allow misinformation to spread,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Referring to the reasons cited for denying him speaking time in Parliament, Chadha said he had been targeted over three allegations. He maintained that his role in Parliament was to raise public issues and not indulge in disruptions. \u201cI am not in Parliament to shout, break mics or use abusive language, but to raise issues of the people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
His remarks come amid speculation linking the \u201cmic-breaking\u201d reference to another AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.<\/p>\n
In a sharp closing statement, Chadha warned the party leadership, using a film dialogue: \u201cI am injured, therefore I am dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n
The latest video comes days after AAP removed Chadha from the post of deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha and informed the Secretariat not to allocate him speaking time under the party quota. Following that move, Chadha had earlier said he was being silenced but not defeated.<\/p>\n
The developments have triggered a public rift within AAP, with party leaders including Anurag Dhanda, Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann criticising Chadha over his role and statements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
