This change includes the replacement of the Punjab Vigilance Bureau chief and the appointment of a new Special DGP for Law &amp; Order. Prior to this, 13 IAS officers were also transferred, including the Deputy Commissioners of four districts. The orders are effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p>New Appointments: Dr. Sharad Satya Chauhan has been appointed as the new Chief Director of the Punjab Vigilance Bureau. Additionally, P.K. Sinha has been appointed as the Special DGP for Law &amp; Order. He will assume office on May 1, 2024, after the retirement of the current officer Arpit Shukla.<\/p>\n<p>Gurmeet Singh Chauhan, who was the DIG of the AGTF, has been removed from his position, and his services have been temporarily assigned to the DGP.
