He will be produced before a court.<\/p>\n<p>According to police sources, Kanchan Kumari was murdered in June 2025 after being lured to Bathinda on the pretext of a promotional event. She was strangled to death on the night of June 9\u201310.<\/p>\n<p>Investigations revealed that Mehro, along with his associates, carried out the killing. Police said he fled the country within hours of the crime with the help of an accomplice, Ranjit Singh, and left for the UAE from Amritsar International Airport on the morning of June 10, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Bathinda Police had earlier arrested two accused in the case, while Mehro had been absconding for a long time.
