He has also requested the court to restrain the police from taking any coercive action, including arrest, until the matter is heard fully and he is able to approach the appropriate legal forum.<\/p>\n<p>The plea further seeks complete details of the FIRs, including the FIR numbers, dates of registration, names and addresses of the police stations concerned, and the districts where the cases were allegedly registered.<\/p>\n<p>According to the petition, the petitioner had \u201crecently exercised his constitutional right to change his political party and join another party.\u201d It states that soon after this development, he was informed through unofficial and media sources that the Punjab Police had allegedly registered two or more FIRs against him.<\/p>\n<p>The petition alleges that despite \u201cbest efforts\u201d, the petitioner was not provided any information related to the FIRs.
