Chandigarh: The Punjab government on Wednesday transferred four IAS officers despite the Model Code of Conduct being in force for upcoming local body elections in the state.<\/p>\n
According to official orders issued by the state government, IAS officer Ramvir has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Jalandhar.<\/p>\n
He has also been given charge as secretary of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department.<\/p>\n
Ghanshyam Thori gets additional responsibilities<\/p>\n
IAS officer Ghanshyam Thori has been appointed secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department and Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Punjab.<\/p>\n
He has additionally been assigned charge of secretary, Medical Education and Research Department.<\/p>\n
Punit Goyal gets Information and Public Relations role<\/p>\n
Punit Goyal has been posted as Special Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, along with the responsibility of Director, Information and Public Relations.<\/p>\n
Akshita Gupta appointed ADC Rupnagar<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Akshita Gupta has been appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Rupnagar.<\/p>\n
