However, police officials said the former minister was not present at the house at the time of the raid.<\/p>\n<p>Police confirmed that an FIR had been registered in connection with Sunday\u2019s incident at Majitha police station. Officials said further details regarding the case would be shared by Amritsar Rural SSP Sohail Qasim Mir.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the investigation, Punjab Police has constituted 12 special teams to identify and arrest those allegedly involved in the incident. Raids are being conducted at multiple locations, while investigators are examining CCTV footage and other evidence collected from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The controversy stems from an incident on Sunday when members of the Kirti Kisan Union staged a protest outside Majitha police station following the arrest of Jobanjit Singh.
