Prior to this posting, he was serving with the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) in Jalandhar.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, IPS officer Vivek Sheel Soni, who was serving as DIG, Border Range, Amritsar, has been transferred and directed to report to the Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab, until further orders.<\/p>\n<p>The transfers come as part of the state government&#8217;s ongoing administrative restructuring within the police department.
