According to the ED, the properties are held in the names of HSRL, its former Chairman and Managing Director Sanjeev Arora, his family members and other associated entities.<\/p>\n<p>The action has been taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. The investigation was initiated on the basis of an FIR registered at the Udyog Vihar Police Station in Gurugram.<\/p>\n<p>According to the ED, the investigation revealed that HSRL, whose primary business is real estate, allegedly showed exports of mobile phones worth around Rs 157 crore to two UAE-based companies during the 2023-24 financial year. The companies were identified as Fortbell Telecom FZCO and Dragon Global FZCO.<\/p>\n<p>The agency alleged that although the mobile phones were procured from local suppliers, no actual export of goods took place. Instead, the company allegedly generated fake invoices and used accommodation entries through shell companies and their network.
