Concerns over possible disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz had prompted the government to introduce emergency supply measures to safeguard domestic fuel availability.<\/p>\n<p>The temporary curbs were aimed at preventing hoarding and black marketing while ensuring uninterrupted fuel supplies for the general public, farmers and other essential sectors.<\/p>\n<p>With the regional situation showing signs of improvement and fuel supplies stabilising, the government has decided to withdraw the emergency restrictions.
