Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has left for Bengaluru on a week-long Vipassana and naturopathy retreat, where he will undergo natural therapy, yoga, meditation and a supervised wellness programme at a private naturopathy centre.<\/p>\n
According to government sources, the Chief Minister will follow a schedule that includes natural healing therapies, yoga, meditation and a specially designed diet plan under the supervision of medical experts. His health will be monitored regularly, with treatment and dietary adjustments made if required.<\/p>\n
Sources said Mann has been engaged in continuous political engagements, administrative meetings and official programmes over the past several months. Owing to his hectic schedule and frequent travel, he had reportedly been experiencing fatigue, following which doctors advised him to undergo a week-long wellness programme.<\/p>\n
During his stay in Bengaluru, the Chief Minister is also expected to participate in Vipassana meditation sessions as part of the health regimen.<\/p>\n
Before leaving for Bengaluru, Mann reviewed several key development projects in Punjab, inaugurated works under various government schemes and issued directions to officials to ensure that ongoing development activities continue without disruption.<\/p>\n
Government sources maintained that the state’s administration will continue to function normally during the Chief Minister’s absence.
