New Delhi: The family of Ketan Agarwal, the Pune businessman allegedly murdered at Lohagad Fort, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for speedy justice, with his mother writing an emotional letter seeking strict punishment for those accused in the case.<\/p>\n
In her letter, Rakhi Agarwal said the family was not seeking any special treatment but wanted the legal process to move swiftly and the accused to receive the strictest punishment under the law.<\/p>\n
Expressing her grief, she wrote that she never imagined she would have to write to the Prime Minister to seek justice for her son. She said the family suffered another tragedy when Ketan’s grandfather passed away just 20 days after Ketan’s death, leaving the family devastated.<\/p>\n
Rakhi Agarwal said every corner of their home reminds them of Ketan and that she continues to fight for justice every day. She expressed hope that one day she would be able to tell her son that justice had finally been delivered.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, had also written to President Droupadi Murmu, requesting that the case be heard in a fast-track court.<\/p>\n
According to police, 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal was allegedly murdered on June 18 at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra. Investigators allege that his fianc\u00e9e, Siya Goel, along with her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary, pushed him into a gorge. Ketan and Siya had got engaged in February and were scheduled to marry in November.<\/p>\n
Police have arrested both accused and are continuing the investigation using mobile chats, digital evidence and other forensic material. The victim’s family has urged authorities to prioritise the case and ensure timely justice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
