ADB upgrades India’s GDP growth forecast for 2024-25 at 7%

New Delhi: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) today raised india’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for the current financial year 2024-25 to 7 per cent.

Earlier, it had projected a growth rate of 6.7 percent. According to the bank, public and private sector investment and consumer demand will pave the way for strong growth.

The growth forecast for 2024-25 is lower than the 7.6 per cent projected in 2022-23.
